Bunch of Grapes:

Challenge Competition

Got a challenge? Learn to think like an artist!

If your organization has a complex challenge, Grape Arte can help you solve it - free of charge. Read on to find out how your team can enter this competition!

We're looking for a company with a complex issue or social situation that needs attention. We'll facilitate an art-based workshop where your group will have an opportunity to gain insight, new perspectives, and shared understanding - and be well on the way to solving the problem. The competition: be the company that experiences the greatest change, as measured by self-evaluation and perceptions.

How Grape Arte works

We are creative facilitators, specializing in process planning as well as art-our team consists of visual artists, dancers and choreographers, theatre artists, and musicians. In addition to working intuitively, we also rely on our skills, knowledge and experience in business, pedagogy and facilitation. Grape Arte is part of Grape People, an international organization, giving us - and you - extra knowledge, experience, and support.

What we do in practice is workshops. In the process you will use your intuition to discover new perspectives and logical interpretations about what the experience meant to the challenge at hand. The end result is a concrete roadmap of what to do next.

The competition

Particularly now, tightened budgets mean that facilitation workshops are difficult to arrange, even though organizations are in need of them. If your challenge is selected by us, we will create a workshop for you free of charge. You put in the time, and we'll contribute the facilitation. Our goal is to depict the purpose of Grape Arte and to collect references of measurable, qualitative and quantitative results.

We want to know:
-
What is the nature of your challenge?
-
How do the problems manifest themselves within your company?
-
What outcomes do you expect from a workshop?
-
How many people will take part and what are their skills and motivations?
-
What is your time frame-when does the challenge need to be solved?

Send in your answers by 16:00 April 7, 2010. Grape Arte will evaluate your situation and send a proposal to 10 selected organizations by April 27, 2010. At this point, your company may still decide not to take part in the workshop. The five fastest replies to our proposal will receive a workshop for 6-60 people, lasting between 4-10 hours.

By "free of charge" we mean that we'll contribute the facilitation and all (art)materials. Possible traveling, location and catering costs are not included. We are located in Helsinki.
